As some of you may know, I work part-time as a “reader” for a high-profile Hollywood illiterate. He’s a little embarrassed about our arrangement, so I won’t mention his name here, but suffice to say he is a thrice Emmy-nominated actor. Anyway, I’ve worked for him for about a year now, reading his scripts to him and answering his emails, or as he calls it “being a Shakespeare.” I was pretty sure he liked me, but this Christmas card confirms it. I’m really touched because it must have taken him days of painstaking concentration to make. And that he didn’t even get any A-1 sauce on it? I mean, forget about it. That’s commitment.
Stars- they’re just like us.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
